Brand Recognition and All That

I never realized until I went to the grocery store yesterday how much I rely on brands to make my choices. There were some brands I recognized, like Palmolive, Always, and the German spelling of "Dannon," but most were private labels (discount grocery and all), and of course spelled in German, so it took me a little longer than normal. Luckily there is a Netto store right across the street--and yogurt starts at .19e...which is good because the feta and salami I bought seems to have walked right out of the refrigerator...
