"Fräulein, Wasser!"

When I applied for a DAAD Scholarship a year ago I didn't think I would actually get it. And when I did, I didn't think I would actually get to go. My school didn't have an established program with the University of Mannheim, and the University of Florida was being it's normal self and wouldn't let me join it's program. So after waiting, (and some more waiting!) I found out in mid-November that I was going to go to Germany...in January.

Now I have only 3 days to go, and I still can't believe that I'm actually going. And although I don't speak German, (and the weather is about 40-50 degrees colder), I know that it some how all work out. And that I'll get a crash course in German.
